Terms of Service

By accessing or using AIMenta, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of AIMenta after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. AIMenta is available in the countries listed on our website. We reserve the right to restrict access based on jurisdiction.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for the same person.

AIMenta is a platform that connects patients with independent, licensed mental health professionals. We are not a medical provider. Doctors on AIMenta are independent contractors. AIMenta does not employ them and is not responsible for their clinical decisions. Consultations are not a substitute for emergency mental health care — if you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency services.

Bookings are confirmed once a doctor accepts your request. You may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled session for a full refund to your AIMenta Wallet. Cancellations within 24 hours of the session may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session cost at the doctor's discretion. If a doctor cancels, you will receive a full refund to your Wallet.

All payments on AIMenta are processed through your AIMenta Wallet. You may top up your Wallet using a credit/debit card or bank transfer. Wallet balances are non-transferable and may not be withdrawn as cash, except where required by applicable law. Session fees are deducted from your Wallet at the time of booking confirmation. Pricing is set by individual doctors and displayed before booking.

You agree not to: • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose • Harass, abuse, or threaten doctors or other users • Impersonate another person or entity • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the platform • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content in reviews Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

All content on AIMenta — including the platform design, software, text, graphics, and logos — is owned by AIMenta GmbH or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g., profile information) but grant AIMenta a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to operate the platform.

AIMenta is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIMenta's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. AIMenta is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany. EU residents retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence pursuant to applicable consumer protection laws.

You may close your account at any time from Dashboard → Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Unused Wallet balances will be refunded within 14 business days of a valid termination request.
